So this week has been awful for reading.
11th December 2017:
- Currently Reading: Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff
- Pages Read: 120 pages
- Stopped on page: FINISHED!!
- Challenges for the book: 12
This book. Just. Wow. This book was just filled with so much feelings and emotions. I loved this book. I loved the whole gladiators setting and the feeling of Spartacus from the talks of Mia and the other arena fighters. I wished Tric was in the book more. Tric is just one of the characters that I loved within Nevernight and I was expecting more of a mention of him. Mia’s character is getting darker and darker the way the book is going and I really can’t wait too see how her characters grows and shapes within the next book.
Now that I finished Godsgrave, I will be starting another challenge. A romance is calling me name so I will be reading a lovely angel romance novel.
- Currently Reading: Shadows by Paula Weston
- Pages Read: 55 pages
- Stopped on page: 55 out of 400
- Challenges for the book: 9
When looking at this challenge I didn’t know whether or not read this or another book. But after finishing Godsgrave I could only think about reading this book and I am so happy I have decided to read it. I love the characters and it is so unlike any of the angel books that are out currently. I really can’t wait to see how this world expands and obviously to see Rafa. I love Rafa, I can’t wait to see more of him.

So I didn’t read as much as I wanted to today. Even though I did read around 60 pages today of Shadows, I still didn’t reach my goal for reading. I have had such a massive headache today which has just made it so hard to read and to do anything. I really hope I will read more tomorrow and I am so excited because this book is picking up the pace! If you haven’t read this book or haven’t heard of this series then I would suggest you should! I have only read the first two books in this series and both of them were really good! I just hope I can finish this book over the next few days!!!!!

So today was interesting. Even though I wasn’t productive in the reading sense, it has been a productive sense in other places. I have no idea how I haven’t read but I guess it’s just a day aha. Hopefully I can make through this book some time over the next few days. Now it’s time to go see Star Wars: The Last Jedi midnight showing!

Yea today wasn’t a reading day either aha. After watching The Last Jedi (which I suggest everyone should!) I was very tired and haven’t been able to keep my eyes open for long. I got some really good news and it has really made the New Year seem amazing and I really can’t wait to see what will be happening in 2018.

No reading done again. God this week has been such a dry spell. Even though I know I should try to read some, I just have no idea why. Great timing to get ill when something like this happens. Maybe this week isn’t a reading week? I just don’t know what’s going to happen aha.
