I’m here with another Meet the Blogger! Today I thought of doing something different. In the past few months, I have been posting about other bloggers but thought it is time I answer my own question. So here is my Meet the Blogger post.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I am a 20-year old who is currently doing an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing. It’s hard but I love my job and the learning aspect of it as well is really enjoyable.
How did you get into book blogging?
I got into it by wanting a place to get my thoughts and feelings out for the books I read.
What is your favourite thing about your blog?
The community. I love it how everyone is so friendly, especially with from other bloggers who blog about things you don’t. There’s just a massive blogger community with all the different sections within. I’m so happy I am apart of it.
Have you been inspired to blog by another blogger and/or Youtuber?
How do you decide what blog posts to do next?
I normally plan out what sort of posts I feel like doing. I also look at the amount of time I have to do something as well. If there’s a post that takes forever to do and I’m quite busy, I’ll try and move that to a time I know I will have more time to focus on that post.
Do you look at other blogs to get inspiration for the content of your blog?
Sometimes. I do look at what people I’m subscribed to do and sometimes take their idea or a tag and do it on here.
Where would you like to see your blog at the end of this year?
I guess to increase my engagement and traffic on my blog. There have been some moments this year it’s been really good but then the other times it hasn’t. So I just want those things to go up.
If you could meet one author who would it be?
This is such a tough question. I think I would say, Sarah J. Maas or Brandon Sanderson. Actually no, I’ll just say Brandon Sanderson. His work is amazing and I love all of his books I have read. I haven’t read all of them but I’m kinda there.
What are your 3 top genres to read?
Fantasy, Urban romance, Science Fiction
What book are you most excited about reading next?
Kingdom of Ashes by Sarah J. Maas. Even though this book isn’t out for another few months, I still can’t wait for this. I am ready for my heart to be torn out!
What is the most recent favourite book you’ve read?
SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM!
Do you have any hobbies outside of blogging/reading?
I love doing photography in my spare time. Especially when I visit different cities for work or on holiday, I always make sure I have enough pictures of the place I’m staying in.
I’m a little gamer as well. Obviously, I have a hard time choosing between reading and playing games but I’m always happy when I either do both.
That is the end of my Q&A with myself. I really enjoyed doing this and I hope you guys did too. It’s always fun finding out a bit more about the blogger behind the blog.
If you are a book blogger that would like to take part in this post. Please email me over on firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to do more of these sorts of posts in the future!
If you like what you see, don’t forget to hit the like button and follow button to get updates on when a new post appears. I post normally every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope you enjoy!
Till then readers!
