I’m here with another Meet the Blogger! Today I will be doing a Q&A with Terri, the owner of Terriluvsbooks. So here it is!
Tell us a bit about yourself?
T: In my previous life, I taught high school for twelve years. When we finally decided to have children, I stopped teaching and became a stay at home mom and we moved from California to North Carolina. I homeschool both our daughters and spend my days reading, writing, or just hanging out with them. I work as an editor and I hope to have my first book out this year.
How did you get into book blogging?
T: I started working as a PA for a local author. I wanted a way to showcase her work, but I couldn’t just talk about her so I started talking about other authors.
What is your favourite thing about your blog?
T: Right now, I have a feature called Popup Interviews. I interview readers, bloggers, or writers about books and book related stuff. I use zoom.com so the meeting is recorded. It is the closest thing I can do without driving around visiting every one of them.
Have you been inspired to blog by another blogger and/or Youtuber?
T: No, I can’t say that I have. However all of the bloggers I read inspire me to make my blog better and keep trying new ideas.
How do you decide what blog posts to do next?
T: I try to mix it all up with interviews and reviews. It has a lot to do with requests and then just whatever I feel like reading next.
Do you look at other blogs to get inspiration for the content of your blog?
T: Other blogs give me ideas on books to read and connect me to new bloggers, but I pretty much just do what I want to do and how I want to do it.
Where would you like to see your blog at the end of this year?
T: By the end of this year, my book blog will probably be a little slower as I will be ramping up a new blog as an author. If everything falls into place and the stars align, my new blog will launch in time for my birthday at the end of April.
If you could meet one author who would it be?
T: William Shakespeare
What are your 3 top genres to read?
T: Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance
What book are you most excited about reading next?
T: My own.
What is the most recent favourite book you’ve read?
T: I’m horrible at this because each new book becomes my favorite. If I had to choose one, last week I finished The Highland Spy by Madeline Martin and loved that one
Do you have any hobbies outside of blogging/reading?
T: I like to paint. I’m really not very good at it, but I love doing it. I like watching the colors mix together to form new colors.
That is the end of my Q&A with Terri from Terriluvsbooks. Thank you to Terri for participating in this Q&A. It was very fun to do. Also, check out her blog, it looks amazing.
