So it’s 2018, a new year so why not look through the past books I read over the past few months. I have seen some people do these type of posts around the middle of 2017 but I thought I might try to do my own version of this type of post by noting down my favourite book I have read in every month in 2017. I will only be selecting one book per month to be my favourite in the month. So let’s gets started.
January:
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
February:
Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
March:
Alone by Scott Sigler
April:
Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen
May:
Half a World by Joe Abercrombie
June:
A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab
July:
A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchett
August:
The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
September:
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas
October:
Twelve Kings by Bradley Beaulieu
November:
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
December:
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
I have loved all of these books last year and I really can’t wait to see what books I will be reading this year. I love the idea of all those unread stories I have yet to discover in the months to come and I am very excited to see what books will be in my favourites list for 2018. Have you seen any of your favourites on this list? Comment below and let me know.

Till then readers!

I like to remember my favourite book of each month. It makes me recap post at the year’s end much easier to write!
I’ve not read any of your favourites so that’s a dozen new books to discover 🙂

My way is to create note down all of the books I have read in the month on OneNote. Some of these books are second or third books in a series so you should definitely check the first books out in those series!

Picking a book from each month is such a good idea!
I actually haven’t read any of the books on your list, but I’m currently making my way through the ADSOM trilogy so maybe it’ll end up on my 2018 list x

Oh thank you! I liked the ADSOM trilogy, I wasn’t expecting to so it was a surprise that I enjoyed it so much.

A Conjuring of light was so great but i haven’t read any of the others on your list. I am hoping however to read The Final Empire and The Name of the Wind this year!

You should definitely get to The Final Empire and The Name of the Wind! They are amazing reads. Both are slow in the beginning but once it picks up, it is very hard to put the books down!
