Final Week Wrap Up of 2017!! God this year has just flown by. Now let’s see how my reading went for this week.
25th – 27th December 2017:
- Currently Reading: The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams
- Pages Read: 205 pages
- Stopped on page: 205 out of 544 pages
- Challenges for the book: 10
So obviously I didn’t read that much over on Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day. So I thought I would combine the Monday till Wednesday for the day. I am really enjoying this book so far. I can see this book is going to be on my favourites shelf already. I love finding these sort of books by coming upon them. It was so hard to get into but after you initially meet all of the characters the story picks up. I love Noon. I really can’t wait to see more of her and how she fits in with the others, especially with the conflict between the her people and Tor’s. I just can’t wait!
28th December 2017:

So I didn’t get to read any of this today. I really have no idea what happened. I don’t know why reading moods are so random. I really want to try and get through some of this tomorrow so hopefully, I will get around halfway through. I really like the direction the story is going and I really can’t wait to see more why the world is the way it is.
- Currently Reading: Vader (Star Wars: Darth Vader #1) by Kieron Gillen
- Pages Read: 161 pages
- Stopped on page: FINISHED!!
- Challenges for the book: 2
I have no idea why I read this instead of The Ninth Rain. Maybe it was because it was a graphic novel instead of an actual book. It took me longer to read this than expected due to reading it on my phone. I don’t think I would like to read another graphic novel on my phone or my iPod. I love a bit of Star Wars like any person but I was a bit disappointed seeing this this wasn’t canon to the story in the films. I really enjoyed the way Darth Vader was, especially with some of the scenes that are within this. I don’t know whether or not I will be continuing this series of graphic novels. But I think the author did a good enough job with this starting book.
29th December 2017:

So yea I didn’t read AGAIN! I have no idea why!! I had a longer journey into work today as well and still didn’t read and after work I wasn’t feeling well sadly. I don’t know why I always feel so sick after something important happens. Oh well. But yea I just didn’t feel like reading today. I hope I can read some of this tomorrow if I feel better. I hope I do.

So I didn’t read anything today. At the pace, I don’t think I will be finishing this book this year. As it’s New Years Eve tomorrow, I don’t see myself reading at all. Oh well, time to play Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
31st December 2017:

So I did try to read some of this today before going out to the New Year’s Eve party. I am really enjoying this book. I love the characters and the way the story is going. I will definitely be doing a review of this book so look for it in the coming weeks. Hopefully I can finish this in the first few days of the new year!
