It is finally the time to say that Christmas is coming. From today, there are 62 days left until Christmas. I love Christmas. I love the whole season of giving, spending time with family and friends and obviously, the food is a major thing I love. The whole season of being people together is a perfect time to do a readathon. I am a moderator for a Christmas Readathon group on Goodreads along with 2 other people. Over the past two years, we have held a readathon that consists of 12 challenges for the whole month of December. The readathon is called The Twelve Reads of Christmas.
The main idea for the end of the readathon is to complete all of the challenges that are set out at the beginning of the month so you can complete the readathon. Very very simple. For this readathon you can double up challenges when picking a book if the book matches two or more challenges. This is down to knowing not everyone reads large amounts of books per month and setting yourself a TBR of 12 books is pretty high. Especially if you are in school or work full time (like me).
As Christmas is still 2 months away, I just thought I might as well tell you about this readathon that is coming up. This is a great opportunity for you if you want something to do in December. If you would like to find this group on Goodreads so you can join it, click here to see the group.
I am so ready to start getting things ready for this readathon. I’m already writing down my ideas for this years challenges. I really can’t wait to share them with you. As there are 3 mods in this group, it will take some time to fully get a list out before December, so please be patient.
