As it is the release day of Stranger Things Season 2, I thought I might do this Stranger Things Book Tag that I found at the beginning of the week. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to do it. I loved Stranger Things last year when it came out. I found this book tag over on The Frozen Book Blog (click here for her post). I love finding these sort of tags around especially when it is about a TV show I like. So let’s get this book tag started!
Question 1: Epic intro: The opening sequence of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed your attention from the first page:
For this, I have to say Alive by Scott Sigler. Everything about this book kept me on the edge of my seat and the first page did exactly just that.
Question 2:Â Dungeons and Dragons: Name a fantasy world you want to experience yourself.
Hands down I have to say is Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson and obviously, I would be a Mistborn. I honestly love this world. Especially with Mistborn’s being able to control metals AND can use them to do different things. That’s just amazing!!!
Question 3:Â Squad Goals: When Eleven met Mike, Dustin and Lucas, it was a “mostly” perfect team. Name your favourite bookish group of friends.
The Inner Circle from A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. Honestly, if I could have all of these as my best friends I would do it in an instant.
Question 4:Â ABC’s and Christmas Lights: Joyce Byers goes mad with grief after Will goes missing. Name your favourite mentally unhinged character.
As soon as I saw this question, I instantly thought of Helena from Orphan Black. I can’t think of any book characters that match this question. So I’ll just go with a TV show character.Â
Question 5:Â The Upside Down: Name a book that was the complete opposite of what I expected.
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. I honestly didn’t think I wouldn’t enjoy this book as much as I did.Â
Question 6:Â Mad Scientists: Dr Brenner likes to get freaky with humanity. Name the freakiest dystopian government you can think of.
The world from The Forsaken by Lisa Stasse. I loved this world so much. It seems so strange that you have to take a test then get thrown onto an island when you are 16. I highly recommend this book for people who are fans of the Hunger Games and Divergent.Â
Question 7:Â Demogorgon: Name a scary bookish creature that you would not want to come through your walls.
I would have to say the Sleeping Prince from The Sin’s Eaters Daughter by Melinda Salisbury. He is so horrible and I would honestly hate it if he came through the wall.
Question 8:Â Cliffhanger Ending: Name a book that had you wanting more
The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I’m still waiting for the sequel….. but I feel like the story is good by itself. Still, Stephanie, a sequel should come.Â
So that’s my take on the Stranger Things Book Tag. I love doing this sort of book tags, especially when it’s about a TV show like Stranger Things. The new season of Stranger Things is out NOW so today is a perfect day to curl up in bed with a hot drink and binge watch Stranger Things.
Would do you want Nancy to end up with? Steve or Jonathon? In my opinion, I would have to say, Jonathon. Even though Steve really helped her out at the end of Season 1, I still think Jonathon is the one for her.Â
