As children, The Sims games were (and still are) the type of games that people still love to play and to get. I love it how all of the Sims interact with one another throughout all of the games and how each game grows. As soon as I saw this Sims book tag, I knew me and Lara had to do it. This book tag was created by Hailey over on HaileyinBookland (link here for original video). She took things from each of the games and gave it a bookish twist to it. I’m so excited to do this tag! Lets get started!!!
1) THE ORIGINAL SIMS: the best debut novel
Amy: Die for Me by Amy Plum
Lara: An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir.
2) THE GRIM REAPER: the saddest character death
Amy: Alight by Scott Sigler. I will never be over their death….
Lara: The Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare.
3) SIMS GETTING STUCK: a character that just got in the way
Amy: Tamlin from A Court of Mist and Fury. Just gets in the way of Feysand man, he must go…
Lara: Peter Peter from Heartless.
4) SIMLISH: a book with amazing writing
Amy: The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Lara: Uprooted by Naomi Novik.
5) EXPANSION PACKS: a series where the books kept on getting better
Amy: The Falconer Series by Elizabeth May
Lara: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.
6) SIMS ROMANCE: the worst case of insta love
Amy: The Edge of Everything by Jeff Giles. The insta-love in this book was just horrible, good book though.
Lara: Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier.
7) CHEATS: a book that was entirely unrealistic
Amy: Any book that has insta-love in it, insta-love is just unrealistic.
Lara: Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.
8) NEEDS FULFILLMENT: a character who made all the wrong decisions
Amy: Gwen from Ruby Red.
Lara: Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments.
9) ERROR CODE 12: a series that started off great but went downhill from there
Amy: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Okay don’t get me wrong, Outlander is such an amazing book, but it goes a bit downhill after book 2. Outlander is still one of my favourite books though…
Lara: The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey.
10) THE SIM VORTEX: a book/series that totally engrossed you
Amy: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. If you guys haven’t read it already, I really think you guys should. It’s AMAZING!!
Lara: Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
11) WHO DO YOU TAG?
Who do we tag? We tag YOU! Its a fun tag and it is a tag about a game that everyone knows. So I’m thinking if you know about the Sim games or if you have played them in the past, then give this tag a go.
We both had fun doing this tag and we can’t wait to see if anyone does it. If you guess have given it a go, leave your link below in the comment section and we will look and your version of this tag.
