    Hi Amy,
Great review, I always struggle to like an injection of new characters in a series too! It’s like who are you and why should I care?
I wondered if you could help me out since you’ve read the books. I’ve received a copy of the Rogue Queen from NetGalley (as I hadn’t realised it was the third in a series when I requested it) but I haven’t read the first two books, based on the reviews I’ve read for them I’m tempted to just jump in at the third and if I like it double back and treat them as a sort of prequel – you’ve read them both, what do you think? Are they worth the read?
Just as I’m iffy buying two books just to review the third because I’ll probably feel morally obligated to stick with it then, even if it’s only okay…

Thinking back to book one and two, nothing really happened during them. However, the ending of book 2 will definitely be important for book 3. Maybe skip the first book but maybe get the second one? The first one was very generic so you can imagine what occured. But maybe try to get to book 2 before reading book 3
