I’m here with another Meet the Blogger! Today I will be doing a Q&A with Manon, the owner of Cafe Manon. So here it is!
Tell us a bit about yourself?
M: My name is Manon and I’m 27 years old. I live in the Netherlands with my boyfriend and our two guinea pigs. I have a degree in Social Work and I am passionate about reading and journaling.
How did you get into book blogging?
M: I started Cafe Manon in January of 2018 because I wanted a place where I could share my passion for books and creativity.
What is your favourite thing about your blog?
M: I love writing book reviews. But I think my favourite thing about my blog is interacting with my readers and with other (book) bloggers.
Have you been inspired to blog by another blogger and/or Youtuber?
M: Bookstagram inspired me to take pictures of my books. There are a lot of amazing accounts that I love following. Also I enjoy reading other book blogs. Seeing posts from other people who are passionate about reading and writing, makes me want to write better posts. And I like to read reviews to see what books I want to read next.
How do you decide what blog posts to do next?
M: I try to post every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, but I don’t really have a blog schedule. I write a review post when I finish a book when I received a subscription box I write an unboxing post.
Do you look at other blogs to get inspiration for the content of your blog?
M: Sometimes just looking at Pinterest board or an Instagram account can inspire me to write a blog post. There are a lot of creative book bloggers out there!
Where would you like to see your blog at the end of this year?
M: I hope to stay consistent with posting three times a week. Also, I hope to interact more with my readers. The book community is amazing and very supportive and I like being a part of this.
If you could meet one author who would it be?
M: M. J. Arlidge (author of the Helen Grace series) or Daniel Cole (author of Ragdoll and Hangman). They both write spine-chilling thriller mysteries and I love their characters.
What are your 3 top genres to read?
M: Thrillers, Young Adult, and Fantasy.
What book are you most excited about reading next?
M: I have a couple of amazing e-ARC’s to read next, but I can’t wait to start with A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I’ve read a lot about this series on blogs and Twitter and I’m curious to find out what the story is all about.
What is the most recent favourite book you’ve read?
M: Currently I’m reading Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney. The book I most recently finished was Her Name Was Rose by Claire Allan.
Do you have any hobbies outside of blogging/reading?
M: I love journaling, drawing, watching Netflix, spending time in our garden and spending time with friends.
That is the end of my Q&A with Manon from Cafe Manon. Thank you to Manon for participating in this Q&A. It was very fun to do. Also, check out her blog, it looks amazing.
If you are a book blogger that would like to take part in this post. Please email me over on hello@lbninthecorner.co.uk. I would love to do more of these sorts of posts in the future!

Great answers, Manon, (and awesome name too!) – I’m with you on Pinterest, I have to hide from everything I want to bake on there. I’ve emailed about doing one of these, they look so fun!
