So I had a thought of doing this sort of post every Monday. Just so I can show you guys what I am currently reading, thinking and what I want to read after my current read. So let’s get this started:
Currently Reading:
I am currently reading 2 books. I am in a little reading slump with one of the books though so I don’t know for sure.
I am still currently reading Ruin by John Gwynne. I was reading this last Monday in my first post, but I am in a little reading slump with this one.
Aside from Ruin, I am currently reading Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton. This is book 2 in the Rebel of the Sands trilogy.
Current Thoughts on the Book:
On Ruin, I’m loving the world within this series but it’s so slow moving that I need something quick and easy to read. Hopefully, I can finish this book by the end of the month.
I read Rebel of the Sands and loved it. I have no idea why it took me such a long time to read this series. I’m loving Traitor, its taken the series into the series in a good way. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the books go.
What I want to Read Next:
After I finish Traitor to the Throne, I will be reading Hero of the Fall. This series is such a fast read and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series goes on.
So those are the books I am currently reading and what my current thoughts are on them. I can’t wait to start my next read. What are you currently reading and what are you planning to read next? Comment below and let me know.

I don’t know how you can read two at a time, my pea brain would probably confuse them 😉

Normally I can’t do it. But I’m in a slumpy feel with Ruin, I don’t really want to force myself to read it while I could be reading something else.
Plus there is a massive difference in the setting, characters and with the story between the two. If these factors were to be too similar, for example, if I read a Brandon Sanderson book alongside Ruin, then I would get confused between the books. But as one is YA and the other isn’t, I can get through both at the same time.

I am reading Sinner by Christopher Graves, my first horror book and I have to say that I haven’t slept well for the past few nights due to nightmares! I am a scaredy cat, this I know!

Oh god, and that is why I don’t read horror stories. Hope you sleep better soon!

I highly recommend them. I tried to read Rebel of the Sands when it came out in 2016 but I didn’t like it so it’s bee on my TBR unread for 2 years before I decided to pick it up again. Now I love the story and don’t want it to end!
Hope you pick it up soon!

What a great idea for a post. I usually have five or six books going at one time, so it would also be a good way for me to help keep track of them. I can’t wait to follow you along with this series.

I enjoyed this post and I might need to borrow your idea. Right now I’ve reading The Boy and His Ribbon by Pepper Winters and Licks by Kelly Siskind. I wouldn’t usually read two, but the first book left me emotionally spent at about 30%. So there was no way I’d be able to power through and read it as quickly as I usually would.

Take it! I’m in the same boat with Ruin, I don’t normally read two books at the same time but I’m in a lil slump. Good luck with your reads!

I haven’t heard of either of these books. I don’t know what I’d recommend you read next. I just got Children of Blood and Bone but I probably won’t get it for awhile. I just started The Space Between Us, a contemporary romance.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’m not really contemporary romance person. But thank you anyway. I have got Children of Blood and Bone, but I have no idea when I will get it.

I hope Ruin goes a bit quicker for you, but that’s great you’re loving Alwyn’s series. I’m currently reading about four different books – two are fiction and fiction are non-fiction though.
