So after trying to get back in the groove of blogging, I thought I might do a book tag to get back into it. I haven’t been blogging in such a long time, so doing a book tag to get back into it. Today I will be doing the Cookie Book Tag. I love cookies, so why would I turn down a chance to do this tag?
I saw this book tag over on Paws and Paperbacks. You should definitely check out Brenna’s blog, it is gorgeous! So let’s get this book tag on the way.
CHOCOLATE CHIP
A CLASSIC BOOK THAT YOU LOVE OR REALLY ENJOYED
Oh um…I don’t know what to say. I haven’t really read any classics so I guess none? I am planning on reading some soon, I have so many on my TBR sadly. I am excited to read some, so instead, I could make this question about that? I don’t know so let’s just skip this one.
THIN MINTS
A FANDOM THAT YOU WANT TO JOIN AND/OR A HYPED BOOK YOU WANT TO READ
Tbh there isn’t really any fandoms I want to join at the moment. I feel like I have joined all of them that I feel like I can relate to.
For a hyped book I want to read there are so many. It’s kinda hard just to pick one. But focusing on the books that have/are coming this year I am so excited to read The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. I have had this book since the release date and haven’t read it. *help me*
Another hyped book I am SOO excited to get to is Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff. The wait between this book and Godsgrave have been torture and I’m so ready for it to end. September can’t come quick enough. *stab stab*
SHORTBREAD
AN AUTHOR YOU CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF
This is such a hard one! There are so many authors I literally have all their books. Um…so I guess for this one I have to give 5? ’cause I can’t choose just one.
So my authors are:
- Brandon Sanderson
- Joe Abercrombie
- Mark Lawrence
- Sarah J. Maas
- Elise Kova
SAMOAS
AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER
The Dollmaker of Krakow by R. M. Romero. This book was honestly nothing that I thought it would be. This book literally ripped out my heart, looked after it for a while, then crushed it. It was honestly the saddest book I have read recently and I will hold a lil part of my heart.Â
OREOS
A BOOK WHOSE COVER WAS BETTER THAN THE STORY OR VICE VERSA
For this one, I would have to say The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue. This book is soo much better than the cover. Tbh I kinda understand what the cover is meant to be but I don’t think it should be the representation of this book. I love this book but the cover definitely lets it down.Â
TAGALONGS
A BOOK THAT WASN’T WHAT YOU EXPECTED
I recently read a book called A Demon in Silver by R. S. Ford and I expected it to be a fantasy novel that was very eh. But honestly, this book was so much better than I thought. From the characters to the world itself and the magic. It was so good and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series goes.
So that is the Cookie Book Tag. If you are wanting to do this tag so count yourself as tagged by me. Now I’m off to see if I can find a cupcake book tag to do.
till next time readers!
