I’m here with another Meet the Blogger! Today I will be doing a Q&A with Imarah, owner of Inspiring Imarah. So here it is!
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I: My name is Imarah and I am 22 years old. I am in my final year of a law degree and I have a lovely 4-year-old son who is also very passionate about reading 🙂
How did you get into book blogging?
I: I’ve always had a crazy love for both reading and computers so I just thought it would be silly not the combine the two and create a hobby I love even more. The book community is also very inspiring to me and has helped me get through a lot over the previous years so that contributed to my decision too.
What is your favourite thing about your blog?
I: I love GIFs so it would have to be the GIFs feature.
Have you been inspired to blog by another blogger and/or Youtuber?
I: JessetheReader – I had no idea about the book community both blogging and YouTube until I stumbled across his channel and my love for reading was re-born, which has led me to where I am today.
How do you decide what blog posts to do next?
I: Sometimes I can’t decide so I have a scroll on Pinterest or Instagram and that helps me a lot.
Do you look at other blogs to get inspiration for the content of your blog?
I: Not inspiration I think, I just enjoy scrolling through book blogs to see what people are loving and disliking.
Where would you like to see your blog at the end of this year?
I: I would love to reach out to loads of people and hopefully help them find their next favourite read and make them smile which is why I chose the name ‘Inspiring Imarah’ hopefully I can inspire your next read!
If you could meet one author who would it be?
I: George R.R. Martin – I just need one conversation with him because for someone to be able to create something like Game of Thrones that is so complex and so great really, really amazes me!
What are your 3 top genres to read?
I: Recently…YA, Non-Fiction, Contemporary but nothing stays the same with me.
What book are you most excited about reading next?
I: Children of Blood and Bone – I am so happy that there has been an influx of POC & LGBTQ representation in fiction this year and it’s only March!
What is the most recent favourite book you’ve read?
I: People who have viewed my blog will know this one because I rave about it so much… Blue is the Warmest Colour… I won’t bore you haha!
Do you have any hobbies outside of blogging/reading?
I: I’ve currently started colouring which has been quite relaxing for me. Jigsaws, playing sims and does watching BookTube videos count as a hobby guys? I also love to cook a big hearty meal.
That is the end of my Q&A with Imarah from Inspiring Imarah. Thank you to Imarah for participating in this Q&A. It was very fun to do. Also, check out Imarah’s blog, she is a lovely person and her blog is so good.

It is so nice to meet you. What a great spotlight. I recently started coloring a little more too. I “borrowed” this really great pencil set we got my youngest for Christmas. It has over 100 colors. It makes coloring that much more exciting.
