Ah Stolen Songbird.. I read it and didn’t continue that series not because I didn’t like it but I never got around to it. Now I am hankering for it as you reminded me! ..

I am currently reading Rachel Lacey’s Unwritten – and really enjoying it. She is a recent find for me.

I haven’t read either of those books. I’m curious about this trend of the main character being someone’s “wife”. I have mixed feelings about it but I’m thinking it’s been used too much. I keep trying to get through some of my own work so I can get to my next read. It’s just staring me in the face taunting me so I may have to sneak in a few chapters soon.

Would be nicer if you could include the covers of the books you mentioned😁
I’m reading ‘Starlings’ by Jo Walton(short story & poems collection). I can’t believe I got approved, I found out that one of her books won a Nebula, Hugo AND British Fantasy award!
